Patient Journey

Objective

Client was one of the leader in generics and biopharmaceuticals seeking to develop patient journey for prophylaxis and acute migraine patients in USA, Korea, Turkey, China and Russia

Methodology

A collaborative effort including primary and secondary research was conducted:

  • ~60 mins qualitative (n=15, 5 per country) interviews with HCPs (neurologists and headache specialists) was conducted to gather information for various level of patient journey including pre-diagnosis, diagnosis, 1st line treatment, 2nd line treatment, 3rd line treatment, and maintenance treatment
  • ~40 mins quantitative interview with HCPs, patients, and payers to understand number of patient with acute and prophylaxis migraine, diagnosis rate, treatment rate, etc.

A thorough research on several topics including patient unmet needs, country demographics, HCP perception, and patient archetypes was conducted

Outcome

A full fledged PPT deck was presented per country along with recommendation
